Growing up in the city of Newark, New Jersey, raised by a mother who didn’t eat pork and spending the weekends with a southern grandmother was not easy. My grandmother Mary T. Williams, would start breakfast every morning at 5am. She would cook eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, grits and toast. My mother would threaten they we better only eat the grits. So I found every way possible to eat grits.

Located in East Orange, NJ Grits & Glamour serves the best and most glamorous grits around. We focus on using the best ingredients collected by our in-house chef. We pride ourselves on serving a mix of classic style Grits and as well as many others. come eat and taste the glamor.
